- Jack Finefrock adds a clothing site to the Bookstore website to sell Kenyon merchandise.
- The historic portraits adorning the Peirce Hall - including those of Lord Kenyon, Lord Gambier, and President Peirce - are sent away for cleaning.
- The stained glass window in the Kokosing House is re-installed.
- The BFEC receives a $250,000 anonymous gift and a large contribution from the Ariel Corporation to build a new environmental center.
- Data analysis begins on a study that revealed that the average amount of freshmen smokers at Kenyon was approximately 5% greater than the national average, while the average amount of senior smokers at Kenyon was almost double the comparable average at other colleges and universities.
