- KCpedia site is launched.
- The Music Listening Room and the Audio-Visual Department in Olin Library are combined into the Multimedia Collections unit, and moved to the north side of the second floor of Olin.
- Food service provider ARAMARK is replaced with AVI.
- William E. Lowry, Class of 1956, returns to Kenyon to speak about his experiences as the first African-American to join a fraternity at Kenyon, Beta Theta Pi.

- March 29 -- Gregory McKnight appeals his conviction and death sentence for the kidnapping, robbery, and murder of Emily Murray and the murder of Gregory Julious. The appeal is filed with the Supreme Court of Ohio.
