The Class of 1964 was graduated in the 136th commencement of the College and Bexley Hall. The ceremony was held in the College Park, at 3 PM, on 7 June 1964. The principal speaker for the occasion was the Rev'd William Grosvenor Pollard, Executive Director, Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies and Priest Associate at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Oak Ridge, Tennessee. His address was entitled "The Two Cultures in Historic Perspective."
