Jessica Roesler Gund

Jessica Roesler Gund was the wife of George Gund, former president of the Cleveland Trust Co. and the Cleveland Institute of Art. The mother of Graham Gund, K'63, She was born in Tuxedo Park, New York, as part of an old American family going back to the early Dutch settlers. She was the granddaughter of Henry B. Laidlaw, who founded the New York banking house of Laidlaw and Co. in 1842. She died in 1954.

Gund Commons was dedicated in her memory.
