KCpedia is an online wiki-based resource capturing the history and heritage of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
Who
The site is managed and operated by Christopher Barth, Director of Information Resources at Kenyon. Anyone may contribute to this project, though to keep spam levels down, content is not freely available to edit on the site without logging in. If you'd like to participate, you may create an account to edit content. Students in the History of Kenyon College beginning in Spring 2006 are also regular contributors to the site.

Kenyon College is located in Gambier, Ohio approximately one hour northeast of Columbus, Ohio.
When
This site was launched in 2005. Kenyon College was founded in 1824. That's enough history to keep us busy for a while.
Why
Rather than assign essays for the History of Kenyon College class that only the instructor would read, this publication allows students (and anyone else interested) to write content that will be beneficial for anyone interested in the history of the College. It's a way for students to actively produce local history ... and publish their work immediately.
